Wendy Bell
Owner

Wendy has been the owner of Play & Learn Early Childhood Center since 2013.  She is an ISU graduate who has lived, worked, and raised children in Ames for over 30 years. Wendy received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Reading Endorsement from ISU.  She is a NAC certified Early Childhood Education Program Administrator.  “My goal is to offer a family atmosphere in a center environment.  My staff and I strive to provide quality care as well as be a support and resource for families in our community.”

 

 

Rebecca Steig
Assistant Director

Rebecca has worked at Play & Learn Early Childhood Center since 2016.  She has been an assistant teacher, a lead teacher in toddlers and twos, curriculum coordinator and currently holds the position the Assistant Director Position at Play and Learn. Rebecca received her associate art’s Degree in Elementary Education from Iowa Central in December 2020. Rebecca is now pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Iowa State University and is especially interested in working with children who have special needs.

Lacey Wyckoff
Director

Lacey has worked at Play & Learn since 2013. She has been an assistant teacher, lead teacher in infants and toddler classrooms and has held both the Assistant Director and the Director positions here at Play and Learn.  Lacey is a NAC-certified Early Childhood Program Administrator and holds a certificate in Early Childhood Education from DMACC.
