Play & Learn is an extension of family

My first experience with Play and Learn was as a foster parent with my first foster child, who was 4. Play and Learn staff were so welcoming and caring, she loved going there and made friends that I know years later she still has today. After the first one, I continued to come back to Play and Learn with all three of our adopted children. I have been pleased and relieved that my children receive so much love and great care from the staff, I truly feel like Play and Learn is an extension of family.  I love the atmosphere and feel that it has really helped my kids get through their initial anxiety about not being with mom. When I pick them up at the end of the day, they are all smiles and excited to talk about their day, show their artwork, and talk about how much they love their classroom teachers. They even play “daycare” at home and pretend to be the Play and Learn staff. I would recommend Play and Learn to any parent looking for a safe and amazing place to take your kids for early childhood care.

THEY WELCOMED HER AND I WITH OPEN ARMS

Plan and Learn has been a great experience for my daughter and I. I was fortunate to be able to keep her home for the first year of her life and when it came time for her to have to go to daycare it was hard for me. But Play and Learn made the transition easy for us. They welcomed her and I with open arms and have been nothing but delightful. They are great on staying on top of things and answering any questions you might have. The staff is always so caring and I love that they are always so happy to see my daughter, it makes my days easier knowing she’s in good hands. She always has so much to tell me by the end of the day when I pick her up about what she ate, and what her and her little friends did that day. Thank you Play and Learn for caring for my daughter!

THE STAFF HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB OF COMMUNICATING

My family has used Play and Learn over the past three years for several different children while doing foster care. We have always been very pleased with the staff, who are always welcoming and work well with the children and their needs. The staff go above and beyond to make the children comfortable. We always know our child will be well taken care of and always have fun playing with friends, learning, and especially playing outside. The staff have done a great job of communicating with us, and I am always confident my child will be loved and cared for while I am at work. With the pandemic, I have never had any doubts about their cleanliness or the way they are continuing to care for the children. I would highly recommend Play and Learn to any family needing child care for their children!

LOVED FROM THE MOMENT HE WALKS IN

When we visited Play & Learn for the first time, it was in the autumn. What caught my attention first when we walked into the infant room was the art on the walls that the babies had helped with – little leaves made with smooshed paint from tiny hands. I thought that if they could help me raise a baby Picasso, that would be wonderful! But what we have experienced in the last year and a half is much more meaningful – my child is loved from the moment he walks in. Play & Learn staff really care about families and it shows in lots of ways – when I stop in during nap time and he’s getting lots of snuggles, when his teachers tell me about his favorite songs and dances at school, and how much I see him learning and growing. Play & Learn is a great, supportive, safe, and reliable childcare provider that provides a family feel to every kid and parent!

HELPING HER DEVELOP TO WHO SHE IS

Moving to a brand new town, starting a new career, and being 7 months pregnant was quite a lot to take on all at once. When my husband and I moved, we knew that we would need to find care for our soon-to-be born daughter quickly, so we started our search. From the day we walked in for our tour to the first day we brought our precious little girl there for her first day at daycare, and everyday since, we have been so comfortable with our decision. Play and Learn has been one of the best things we could have chosen for our daughter. Not only has the staff at Play and Learn been amazing at keeping my husband and I up to date on everything going on during the day, but they have also done a phenomenal job helping her develop to who she is today. From crawling to walking, her love for books, and doing all types of fun activities and crafts, our daughter has become such a fun little girl, all thanks to the wonderful staff at Play and Learn. We could never ask for a better daycare to bring our child to, and we look forward to continuing our journey with Play and Learn for years to come!

My children have thrived while in their care

Play and Learn has been fantastic for our family. We started our childcare journey with in-home care, but it wasn’t convenient for us. Play and Learn was a welcomed change. We really appreciate their flexibility and consistent care for our children. We also love the personal touch from all of the staff and teachers. Every adult knows the names of my children and always asks them how they are when we are walking through the building. Whenever we have had a concern, they have taken the time to listen to us and problem solve to resolve any issues. My children have thrived while in their care and I know they enjoy “daycare days” each week. The staff goes above and beyond when caring for our children and I believe they love our children like their own.

I COUDN’T IMAGINE TAKING HIM ANYWHERE ELSE

My son has been going to Play and Learn since he was 10 weeks old and I couldn’t imagine taking him anywhere else. All of his teachers have truly cared for him so I never have to worry about his well being. The environment is structured and he is always learning new things while having fun at the same time.  I can tell he loves it too because he always tells me about the things he did during the day and the fun he had with his friends. I will forever be grateful for the teachers who have played a role in his development and helping him grow into the little boy he is today!

After taking my son here for nearly 2 years, I highly recommend Play and Learn. The staff, since day one, was warm and welcoming. I felt so reassured leaving my son there on the first day, that moving two years later, it’s almost like saying goodbye to family.
