Play and Learn is so proud to announce our T.E.A.C.H. scholarship recipients for 2021!
Congratulations to Miss Tina, Miss Guinevere, Miss Reilly, Miss Allison, Miss Chinmayee, and Miss Kayla! We are so excited to begin this journey with you all. T.E.A.C.H. is a scholarship program through the Iowa Association for the Education of Young Children that works with early childhood educators to provide financial aid and support. This support allows them to pursue their education while continuing to work full time in the early childhood field. The program and the employer both contribute a large percentage of tuition costs, and Play & Learn also provides scheduling flexibility to work on coursework and guaranteed wage increases when recipients complete their program requirements.
The goal of the T.E.A.C.H. program is to support the early childhood workforce to provide high quality and consistent care for families. We are so lucky to have such dedicated teachers at Play & Learn who want to further their education and continue growing as educators!
